Color to Cozy Retreat - DEPOSIT

We are excited to announce our next Retreat Color to Coazy in partnership with Leading Men Fiber Arts, Hook Mountain Handmades, and Stitch House Collective.

This retreat will have lots of fun creating with colors and time to relax with one annother at Leading Men Fiber Arts and Allerton Retreat Center in Montecello, IL!

We will spend Monday, November 2 through Thursday, November 5 exploring central Illinois. We will be tucked away at the Allerton Retreat Center enjoying the grounds where we can enjoy the wind down of our year. 

For those of you that want to dive into color exploration, we will have a dye workshop with Steve and Andy in the Leading Men Fiber Arts (LMFA) studios! This includes 2 skeins, and you are welcome to add more to create your unique colorway for your next larger project - like a sweater :)

Jovi from Hook Mountain Handmades has created a cozy fair isle colorwork matching hat and mitts pattern for you to make while we are together to stay warm after the retreat. Jovi will provide guided instruction to creating a hat and mitt set of your dreams. She will be using Leading Men Fiber Arts yarn and will provide guidance as we get closer.

Jenna with Stich House Collective will be there to guide you through your projects and support your makes as the days unfold.

And Heather will be there to provide entertainment and host all the fun to be had.

Monday, November 2

• 2:30 PM - Check In
• 4:30 PM - Social Stitching & Introductions
• 5:30 PM - Dinner
• 7:30  PM - Evening Wind Down Stitching

Tuesday, November 3

• 8:30 AM - Breakfast
• 9:30 AM - Dye Studio heads to Clinton
  • Spend time in the dye studio and social stitching at LMFA
  • Lunch will be served in Clinton
• 9:30 AM - Pattern Review
  • 11:30 AM - Lunch
  • 12;30 PM - Group Walk on the Groups
  • 1:30 PM - Quiet Time
  • 2:30 PM - Social Stitching
• 4:30 PM - Head out to Dinner
• 6:00 PM - Maker Chat w/ Jovi and Jenna

Wednesday, November 4

• The schedule will be the same as Tuesday. Those that have been at the studio will flip to the retreat center
• If you are not participating in the dye studio, you will follow the same schedule
• One modification - at 6:30 PM: Fashion Show: Show off YOUR Makes!

Thursday, November 5

• 8:30 AM - Breakfast
• 9:30 AM - Retreat Wrap Up
• 10:30 AM - Depart for Home

There are a limited number of spots available. The deposit is non-refundable and secures your spot in the retreat. A separate invoice will be sent in June, and final payment due by July 31, 2026. 

We do offer Shop Pay, which is a way to break down your payments via Shop. You are welcome to use that for your final payment invoice.
