Build your skills stitch by stitch while creating a beautiful, heirloom-quality knitted sampler! This year-long workshop series invites knitters to create one 16" square each month, expanding their technique library while steadily producing enough fabric for a 4' x 6' blanket by year’s end.
Each monthly class focuses on a different knitting technique, including textured stitches, cables, lace, and colorwork, offering both skill development and creative exploration. Along the way, you’ll gain confidence working with new stitch patterns while creating a cohesive finished project.
To support successful finishing, sewing and assembly techniques will be taught during the March, June, September, and December classes. These sessions will cover seaming, layout considerations, and finishing tips that can be applied to blankets or other projects.
While the primary project is a sampler blanket, the squares are intentionally versatile. Prefer a different outcome? Six squares can be combined into a sampler poncho, or used to create bags, pillows, or other accessories—making this series flexible to your personal goals.
