Join us in May to stitch your very own market bag! Create a new accessory to tote with you to farmers markets this summer or to throw your most recent WIP in. We'll be kicking off the SAL on Wednesday, May 1st from 5 - 8 PM, so grab your yarn and sign up now in-store or online!

SAL Schedule

Kick Off: Wednesday, May 1. 5 - 8 PM
SAL Socials: Sundays, May 5, 12, & 19.  1 - 3 PM
SAL Finale & Raffle Drawing: Friday, May 31. 6 - 8 PM

Crochet: Hello Summer Beach Bag by Connie Lee Lynch

If you choose to make one of the recommended patterns, you will receive a printed copy and will get the pattern sent to you on Ravelry. 

Is there a specific bag pattern you've had your eye on? No worries! Feel free to use whichever pattern you'd like. Just be sure to select the "Choose My Own Pattern" option when signing up.

Yarn

If you choose to purchase your yarn for the Stitch Along from Yarncom, select the "Yarn from Yarncom" option when signing up. There is no fee for this option and you get the recommended pattern for free!

If you'd like to use your own stash for the SAL please select the "Stash Buster" option. There is a $10 fee for this option and the recommended pattern is included.

Need Help?

We're excited to offer the help table for stitchers that may be learning a few new techniques in their project, and need a little help along the way. As a reminder, this is NOT a class. For those that prefer to have assistance getting through a single technique required in the pattern, or just want additional guidance or encouragement through the process our help table is great!

If you'd like to have access to the help table at every SAL Social for the duration of the Stitch Along (4 Sessions), select the "Help Table" option when signing up. This one time $30 fee gives you a seat at the help table every week!

If you're confident in your shawl stitching abilities and don't need help during the SAL, select "No Help".

If you signed up for "No Help" but ended up needing some assistance, you can purchase a one-time help session for $15 at one of the SAL Socials. This is only valid for one help session.

Raffles & Prizes

By entering the SAL you will become eligible to win a $15 Yarncom Gift Card at the end. How do you enter the raffle? You will receive tickets by doing the following:
  • Sign up for the SAL
  • Attend the SAL Kick Off on Wednesday, May 1st!
  • Attend one or ALL of our Sunday SAL socials from May 5 - May 19.
  • Purchase your yarn for the SAL from Yarncom

And for our finishers, we will have another raffle for a $25 Yarncom Gift Card! To enter:

  • You must not start your bag prior to May 1
  • You have purchased your yarn from Yarncom for this SAL
  • You have all of the bag completed and attend the May 31st Finale
