Tying Intentions: A Journey of Mindfulness and Macrame

EmpowHER joins Yarncom to create coasters to remind you of your goals in 2025.

Cost:

$25.00 per person

Duration:

2h

Schedule:

Wednesday, January 29, 2025, 9 - 11 AM

About this experience

Have you been interested in macrame but not sure where to begin? This class will bring lots of fun and get your knotting adventures underway. Heather will lead the coaster project with a pattern and encourage creativity throughout the class. The best part about macrame is that you can create intricate looking decor that is simple.

For this project, we will follow a guided meditation pre-recorded by Sharon with Blue Empress Tarot to set intention in our projects. Sharon will introduce intention ideas and help you to focus your intention. With each knot that is tied, you will be focusing on your intention. And each time you see your coaster, you will be reminded of your intention.

All Supplies are included in the Class Fee.

Heather learned to crochet and sew as a young child. Her sewing stuck with her for years and then she picked up some knitting needles over 15 years ago never looking back. She eventually went back to her roots and started to crochet again. And as she has been falling down the fiber arts rabbit hole, she also enjoys spinning and weaving. Heather has coached youth sports since she was a youth and enjoys passing along her knowledge to help others take their interests to the next step. If you enjoy learning and laughing, you will definitely enjoy spending time at the table with Heather picking up a new skill.
