Class Instructor: Laura Klaus of Baskets by Laura! You may have seen her and her beautiful baskets at the Midwest Fiber Fesitval! We're so excited to welcome Laura to the shop for some basket weaving classes this fall.

Class Schedule: Tuesday, September 9.  6 - 8 PM

Stay organized with this unique woven Stitch Marker Keeper! In this class, you'll create a charming and functional container by weaving over a glass jar with a sturdy wooden base.

You’ll learn essential basket weaving techniques, including inserting spokes into a wooden base for stability and mastering continuous weaving to create a seamless design. Customize your keeper with a variety of color choices for spokes and weavers, and complete your project with a selection of decorative lids to match your personal style.

With an overall height of approximately 3 inches, this compact yet practical keeper is perfect for holding stitch markers, buttons, beads, or other small crafting essentials. Whether you're new to weaving or looking to refine your skills, this class offers a fun and rewarding way to create a one-of-a-kind handcrafted piece!

Class Minimum: 3 Students

If class minimum is not met by 48 hours before class start, class will be cancelled. Registrants will be contacted via phone and/or email, and refunded the full class fee to their original form of payment.

Purchases made at Yarncom on the day of class will receive a 10% discount. *some exclusions apply

Class Policy

Yarncom must be notified a minimum of 48 hours before the first session begins if you will not be attending. Refunds will not be available for cancellations within 48 hours of the first session.

Credit card refunds for cancellations are available with a $15 administration fee.

Gift card (store credit) refunds for cancellations are available at no additional fee. The gift card will be digital and sent to you via email.

You may reschedule your class up to 48 hours before the first session if the class is offered at another time.
