Let's demystify sock knitting! Knitting socks on a 9-inch circular needle is a technique that many sock knitters swear by. We will tackle not only small circumference needles but also long-tail cast on, the infamous heel flap and gusset, and how to use magic loop & kitchener stitch for the toe while following I'm So Basic Socks by Summer Lee Design Co.

This is NOT an absolute beginner class. Please be aware that class time will not be spent on reteaching the aforementioned prerequisites.

Hello! My name is Josie, and I would love to be your instructor. I have been crocheting most of my life and knitting for about 3 years now. I am almost completely self-taught, and I love a good challenge, so I like to tackle projects with new to me skills. I love making socks, sweaters, summer tops, and all kinds of other things!
