Do you have a group of friends that are interested in getting together to learn something new? Are you wanting to host a birthday party at Yarncom? If so, this is for you!
Grab a seat at the table with at least 4 of your best pals to learn something new!
What to Expect: Knitting
You will have a project that is started and ready for you to learn the knit stitch while making a wash cloth. You will be able to go home with your project to complete. Resources will be available to teach you how to finish it or you can book a private lesson with one of our staff to complete the project at a later time.
Supplies include yarn, knitting needles, pattern, and references to video tutorials to complete on your own.
What to Expect: Crochet
You will learn the chain and single crochet stitches to create a wash cloth. You will be able to get your project along and finish it at home. Resources will be available to teach you how to finish it or you can book a private lesson with one of our staff to complete the project at a later time.
Supplies include yarn, knitting needles, pattern, and references to video tutorials to complete on your own.
Age Ranges
Ages 10 & Under: We recommend a 90 minute event for our younger stitchers. This is a good amount of time to get them started with the basics, but not too long that we lose their attention.
Ages 10 & Up: A 2 hour event is the preferred amount of time to learn the basics of knitting or crochet. We can cover each of the basic steps and make sure each attendee is comfortable with the techniques.

The pricing listed for these private events are per person.
Ex: 2 hour knitting event, 5 people in your party, total is $225.
Payment Options
Balance must be paid in full before your event. After locking in your date, we will send you a link to pay for your event.
Your Host
Heather learned to crochet and sew as a young child. Her sewing stuck with her for years and then she picked up some knitting needles over 15 years ago never looking back. She eventually went back to her roots and started to crochet again. And as she has been falling down the fiber arts rabbit hole, she also enjoys spinning and weaving. Heather has coached youth sports since she was a youth and enjoys passing along her knowledge to help others take their interests to the next step. If you enjoy learning and laughing, you will definitely enjoy spending time at the table with Heather picking up a new skill.
