Knitting 203: How to Fix Basic Mistakes
Every knitter makes mistakes. The difference is knowing what to do next.
Instead of ripping out hours of work, learn how to identify common mistakes and fix them with confidence. In this class, we'll cover the techniques every knitter should know to keep projects moving forward.
You'll learn how to:
- Tink ("unknit") stitch by stitch
- Identify and correct twisted stitches
- Pick up dropped stitches in stockinette and garter stitch
- Insert a lifeline before tackling challenging sections
- Rip back or frog with a purpose when starting over really is the best option
By the end of class, you'll have the skills to recover from common knitting mistakes, spend less time starting over, and more time enjoying your projects.
Part of Jenna's Knitting 200 series, helping knitters move from following instructions to understanding what they're doing and why.
