Kids Class: Crochet Impkins

About this experience

Calling all young crocheters! If you're ready to level up your skills and bring some seriously adorable creatures to life, this is the class for you. Inspired by Megan Lapp's book Crochet Impkins, each session guides kids through crocheting their very own Impkin stuffy from start to finish. These quirky, lovable characters make for a fun project and a keepsake you'll be proud to show off!

Each session will be creating a unique body type and at least one accessory. Eyes and stuffing is included in the cost of the class.

Class Schedule

Each class runs from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Sign up for one session or all of them!

October 3 — Sitting Body 1
October 24 — Standing Body 1
November 14 — Sitting Body 2
December 5 — Standing Body 2

Please Note: The patterns for this class come from Crochet Impkins by Megan Lapp. Purchase of the book is required to participate. If you don't already have a copy, we recommend picking one up before your first class.

Save $5 per class when you register for two or more sessions in a single transaction!

Pre-requisites:

• Must have taken a Beginning Crochet class
  OR
• Completed projects using Crochet and are familiar with the terms.

This is NOT an absolute beginner class. Please be aware that class time will not be spent on reteaching the aforementioned prerequisites.

Supplies Needed:

• Yarn: Cascade 220 Superwash or Anthem, or any DK/Worsted Weight Yarn with at least 2 colors
  • 20gms or less for the body color, and 1-3gms for accessories
• 4mm Crochet hook
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle

Supplies purchased at Yarncom for this class will receive a 10% discount. *some exclusions apply

Minimum Number of Students: 3

If class minimum is not met by 48 hours before class start, class will be cancelled. Registrants will be contacted via phone and/or email, and refunded the full class fee to their original form of payment.

Class Policies

The schedule presented is the available time for the instructor. If you are unable to attend a class session, a 1:1 lesson can be scheduled at an additional cost.

Yarncom must be notified a minimum of 48 hours before the first session begins if you will not be attending. Refunds will not be available for cancellations within 48 hours of the first session.

Credit card refunds for cancellations are available with a $15 administration fee.

Store credit refunds for cancellations are available at no additional fee. The credit will be added to your customer profile.

You may reschedule your class up to 48 hours before the first session if the class is offered at another time.
