About this experience

Sampler Square Series with Heather Swan (aka Yarn Queen)

Start the year by discovering just how versatile a single stitch can be! February's crochet class is all about lace crochet—and all the creative ways it can show up.

You’ll crochet a 16" sampler square that highlights multiple single crochet variations, creating rich texture and visual interest while strengthening your fundamentals. This square works beautifully on its own or as part of a larger project, including a 4' x 6' sampler blanket, poncho, bag, or other creative make.

This class focuses on stitch consistency, tension control, reading stitch instructions, and recognizing how small changes can dramatically alter fabric—skills you’ll build on throughout the year.
