Join Author, Knit, and Crochet Designer Tian Connaughton for some FIT Fun in St. Louis this Fall! We will have put together an experience for both Crochet & Knit makers to discuss garment creation and how to make each pattern fit YOUR Body! Tian Connaughton is a Designer and Technical Editor for crochet and knit designers helping them create patterns that you will love. She published Cardigans for Every Body because every body is worthy in 2023 that includes 4 patterns and multiple worksheets to help with the math that can be overwhelming. Ann Konzen will be joining us to kick off the retreat for a Dorset Button clinic. You will have fun creating new buttons that will match your sweaters! Ann has taught in the St. Louis region at Hearthstone Knits and Knitorious in the past. We are so glad to have her join us to share her passion for making! She teaches knit classes and private lessons regularly at Yarncom. Click here to check out all the fun.

Yarn Queen, aka Heather Swan, will be your host for the retreat. Our Yarn Queen is always up for some fun, especially when it comes to spending time with other makers to create garments they will love to wear on THEIR BODY! 

Lonnie Bunny Enchanted Yarn will be having a trunk show this weekend and joining us with a Retreat Colorway to be revealed at check-in! You will NOT want to miss out on this Retreat exclusive that will be available to retreat attendees first!

Each attendee will receive a Swag Bag full of goodies that include Signed Copies of both of Tian's books, Retreat T-Shirt, and other surprises to help you create the best sweaters!

The retreat will be at Drury Hotel & Suites in Creve Coeur, MO at the Southeast corner of intersection I-270 and Olive Boulevard. Drury Hotel & Suites provides accommodations including

The Retreat Schedule is:

• Thursday, October 10: Check-In, Dorset Button Workshop, and Social Stitching
• Friday, October 11: FIT Clinic Workshops 1 & 2 and Social Stitching
• Saturday, October 12: Brunch, FIT Clinic Workshops 3 & 4 and Private Shopping & Social Stitching
• Sunday, October 13: Finished Object Fashion Show and Retreat Wrap Up

Class Reservation Policies

• Refunds or Cancellations will be available with a $100 administration fee. Yarncom must be notified no later than September 15, 2024 if you will not be attending.
