Ready to crochet in the round? Add to your crochet skills by making the beautiful and functional Bondi Basket by Loopy Handmade. Everyone needs another basket to throw yarn in right? Over two, 2-hour sessions, you will learn how to start with a magic circle, crochet in both joined rounds and a spiral, and work in back loops only to turn a corner.
Please take a look at the prerequisites listed before signing up for this class.

Prerequisites

  • Chain
  • Slip stitch
  • Single crochet

This is NOT an absolute beginner class. Please be aware that class time will not be spent on reteaching the aforementioned prerequisites.

Ages: 14+

The Bondi Basket pattern by Loopy Handmade is included in the class cost. 

Optional Kit - $29.95 includes:

  • 1 Clover Amour crochet hook. Size N/10.0 mm
  • 120 yards of 4 mm cotton macrame cord.
  • Kits will be available the day of class. Please arrive a few minutes early to chose your color.

Class Policies

The schedule presented is the available time for the instructor. If you are unable to attend a class session, a 1:1 lesson can be scheduled at an additional cost.

Yarncom must be notified a minimum of 48 hours before the first session begins if you will not be attending. Refunds will not be available for cancellations within 48 hours of the first session.

Credit card refunds for cancellations are available with a $15 administration fee.

Gift card (store credit) refunds for cancellations are available at no additional fee. The gift card will be digital and sent to you via email. 

You may reschedule your class up to 48 hours before the first session if the class is offered at another time.

Julie learned to crochet and knit as a child, and has been dedicated to fiber arts for more than 15 years as an adult. She especially loves knitting sweaters and crocheting amigurumi. She is a mom of three, and her children have given her many new ideas for projects. She loves to share her knowledge and see people take pride in their new skills!
