This yarn tasting is one session long. Please ensure you are available for the session before booking your spot. See cancellation policy below. 

The very best way to expand your knowledge of yarn is to experience different types of yarn! This can be challenging and expensive to do when full skeins of yarn can easily cost $20 and up. This special yarn tasting event gives you the opportunity to try out a variety of gorgeous and unique luxury yarns at a fraction of the price of buying individual skeins. You’ll be hosted by Sarah Korth of SEK Handmade. A pattern designer and fiber teacher who loves to knit and crochet, Sarah will be available to share her experience, help with swatching and suggest projects for the different yarns.

Techniques You'll Learn

• You’ll gain knowledge of a wide variety of luxury yarns, Sarah will share her experiences working with the yarns and will provide help picking out the perfect project for the yarn you fall in love with!

Prerequisites

• You should be comfortable with the basics — able to cast on, knit, and bind off or chain and single crochet.

• Yarn – Blue Sky Fibers Luxury Yarn will be provided for sampling.
• Sampling cards

Supplies to Bring

• Needles and Hooks – bring along your own favorite needles in a variety of sizes to try all the different yarns.

Purchases made at Yarncom on the day of this class will receive a 10% discount. *some exclusions apply

Class Minimum: 10 Students

Class Maximum: 30 Students

If class minimum is not met by 48 hours before class start, class will be cancelled. Registrants will be contacted via phone and/or email, and refunded the full class fee to their original form of payment.

Class Policy

The schedule presented is the available time for the instructor. If you are unable to attend a class session, a 1:1 lesson can be scheduled at an additional cost.

Yarncom must be notified a minimum of 48 hours before the first session begins if you will not be attending. Refunds will not be available for cancellations within 48 hours of the first session.

Credit card refunds for cancellations are available with a $15 administration fee.

Store credit refunds for cancellations are available at no additional fee. The credit will be added to your customer profile.

You may reschedule your class up to 48 hours before the first session if the class is offered at another time.
