Learn the exciting art of weaving! In this class you will receive and learn to weave on a triangle and square weaving loom to make beautiful woven quilt blankets. This class is great for someone wanting to learn more about weaving with minimal investment, a parent and child to learn something new together, or grab your best friend!

The designs are endless using our 10" square and 1 ft 5" triangle looms. You will weave several panels and sew them together to create the start of your blanket. . The class fee includes the two looms to continue making other items including clothing, shawls, purses and more!

We look forward to you joining us for a workshop that will result in some great fabric and opportunity to create something fun to cuddle up with around a campfire.

Prerequisites: no experience required

Ages: 7+

Supplies Included in Class Fee

  • Kiss Looms blanket weaving kit including:

    • 10" square and 17" triangle loom

    • tools needed to weave and sew

Supplies to Bring

  • Worsted to Chunky Weight Yarn in desired colors

    • Yarncom suggested yarns are Cascade 220, Blue Sky Fiber Woolstok Tweed

Workshop Pricing

Single Student: $125

Couple: $155

  • Please sign up as a couple if your party has two people that would like to share a blanket kit during class. 2 people & 1 Kit (1 square Loom, 1 triangle Loom, tools).
  • Please sign up as "Single Student" if you're attending the workshop with someone, and each of you want your own blanket kit OR you're attending the workshop alone.

Kelly Jones has been knitting and weaving for over 15 years. She is the owner of Kiss Looms Adjustable Gauge Knitting and Weaving Looms. Kelly has taught classes at DFW Fiber Fest, NWA Fiber Fest, Hoosier Hills, and Birchwood Fiber Fest, as well as many others over the years. She loves to teach new people to knit or weave and believes that looms are a great resource for those with hand difficulties to be able to continue to accomplish the hobbies they love.
