4-Session Workshop | All Levels Welcome
Join us for a hands-on, process-focused series where you'll explore the art of weaving as a creative medium. In this four-part workshop, you'll design and create a one-of-a-kind woven artwork using a variety of materials and techniques.
Bring a frame (minimum size 16” x 24”) — this will become your loom. We’ll begin by warping the frame and building a solid foundation for your piece. Each session will guide you through exploring texture, shape, composition, and non-traditional materials to bring your vision to life. This is more than just functional weaving — it's weaving as art.
Expect experimentation, conversation, and inspiration as you work alongside fellow makers in a supportive, creative environment.
What to Bring:
-
A frame (at least 16” x 24”) — an old picture frame works great
-
Any special yarns, fabrics, or objects you may want to incorporate
-
Curiosity and a willingness to play
All other materials provided, and no prior weaving experience is required.
Class Minimum: 4
If class minimum is not met by 48 hours before class start, class will be cancelled. Registrants will be contacted via phone and/or email, and refunded the full class fee to their original form of payment.

Heather learned to crochet and sew as a young child. Her sewing stuck with her for years and then she picked up some knitting needles over 20 years ago never looking back. She eventually went back to her roots and started to crochet again. And as she has been falling down the fiber arts rabbit hole, she also enjoys spinning and weaving. Heather has coached youth sports since she was a youth and enjoys passing along her knowledge to help others take their interests to the next step. If you enjoy learning and laughing, you will definitely enjoy spending time at the table with Heather picking up a new skill.
